In March 2002 I was appointed Student Webmaster for the Division of Business Administration at Dalton State College. I was brought in to redesign the division's existing site, then remained in that position to keep site content updated and relevant for students. The resulting site was not only attractive and functional, but also met the school's design requirements by being ADA-compliant and complimentary to the institution's overall marketing and branding campaigns.
That position at DSC led to several consulting projects, including a series of site usability surveys done for the school in 2002 and 2003. I also participated in the college's Web Committee meetings. Due to budget cuts, my position at the college was made redundant in August 2003.
